Early 20th Century
The rectangular screen painted with a river landscape, a pavilion in the foreground, inscribed upper right, dated to a Guichou year (equivalent to 1913), painted by Mr. Fa Shigu and Zichao Shanren, hardwood frame and stand.
款識：水際抬涼好，雲亭面開闊。白雲知我至，放膽入窗東。癸丑（1913）大暑，法石谷先生筆，子朝山人畫。

Stone 28 7/8 wide x 19 in. high, 73.4 x 48.3cm. Surface soiling, rubbing to painting, with scattered chips to the edge. Surface soiling and wear from age and use.
